The Salerno Maritime Station, inaugurated in 2016, is among the most important works of the famous archistar Zaha Hadid.

Its structure resembles an oyster with a sturdy outer shell, which hides fluid and light elements inside. For its realization, materials such as glass, steel and ceramic were used.

Located at the Manfredi Dock between the commercial port and Piazza della Libertà, from which the Lungomare begins, it has an area of 4,500 square meters spread over two levels with administrative offices, terminal for ferries and cruise ships, ticket office and waiting room.

On the ground floor it is possible to use a limited area as a conference hall with a maximum capacity of 150/180 people.
