The Town Hall, an imposing building that stands between Roma Street and Trieste Seafront, features on the inside the Marbles’ Hall, so called because it is almost completely covered with beautiful marbles that recall the colours of Salerno (gold, red and blue).

Illuminated with opaline lamps, the environment is dominated by a pictorial cycle by local artist Pasquale Avallone.

In 1944, the Marbles’ Hall hosted the first meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Government of National Unity. It has a capacity of 400 seats and it is used, as well as for meetings of the City Council, for conventions, conferences, meetings.

The adjacent Banner Hall has a capacity of 120 seats, while the Council Hall has a rectangular table with 24 seats.
