[cml_media_alt id='83']Giardino della Minerva[/cml_media_alt]

There are traces of the Garden of Minerva dating back to the XII century, when it belonged to the Silvatico family who kept the property for a long time.
One of the descendants, Matteo Silvatico, member of the Medical School of Salerno, used its exceptional microclimate to grow the plants necessary to produce the medicines.
The staircase surmounted by a pergola, which connects the different levels of the garden, is of great beauty.
