[cml_media_alt id='116']Museo Città Creativa[/cml_media_alt]

The “Creative City” Museum of Ogliara is a dynamic museum, a place for research, experimentation, exhibition and documentation on ceramics. It is grafted onto a territory with a historical-artisan background characterized since the Middle Ages by the extraction, export and transformation of clay. It is possible to visit unique sites such as the fascine furnaces, which survived until the XIX century in full activity. Two of these have been renovated and they are periodically activated according to the same XIX century ritual. The old municipal-owned warehouses in the territory have become the headquarters of the “Creative City” Museum and various urban furnishings have been created here as well as, periodically, a series of exhibition events (Biennials, experimental exhibitions) with the participation of artists, architects, associations.
The “Creative City” Museum, a laboratory center for experimentation, documentation and teaching, periodically promotes courses in ceramics, decoration and sculpture in the context of manual skills and creativity.
